Many university students are unaware that massage and acupuncture therapies are covered by their student health plans. This means that a certain amount of their visit to an acupuncturist or massage therapist is *free.*
Student discounts at Tuina.ca help those who are covered by student plans to receive more treatment time with licensed practitioners within the insured amount.
If you are registered with accessibility services at your university, you are covered for a higher amount than under the standard health plan! See below for the student deals relevant to your health benefit plan. If your student union is not listed or you are registered with accessibility services, please contact us for details and deals according to your health plan.

Acupuncture treatment is covered without the need for a medical referral, and massage therapy coverage requires a medical referral. Massage therapy is proven to be an effective treatment for stress and chronic muscular pains, and many students are unknowingly eligible for massage therapy referrals.
